Window
Film is made from transparent layers of polyester that are metalised,
laminated and coated using special adhesives, ultraviolet inhibitors
and protective scratch resistant coatings. Metal particles are 'sputtered'
into the laminate layers in varying concentrations to allow for
varying degrees of colour and solar enegy rejection capability.
The result is a micro-thin high efficiency film that is bonded to
glass with a specially formulated adhesive. Glass and film become
almost one. Window films are available in clear, tinted, reflective
and an array of decorative patterns.
Window
film is available in varying thicknesses and also in a variety of
colours and tints. Films are usually fitted on the inside of windows
